Her mother, Cynthia Louise Bissett, vice president of the mobile company Verizon. Her father was Joseph Anthony Germanotta, Jr. who was a businessman. Her family was raised in Manhattan's exclusive Upper East Side with a Catholic family. Due to this, her parents sent their daughter in the Convent of the Sacred Heart.
