Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche - an American actress who starred in many genres of film, theatre and television - was a well known American. Her work was recognized with numerous awards including her Daytime Emmy Award for her acting in theater and television. Anne Celeste Heche (May 25 1969 - August 11, 2022) was an American actor. Her first recognition came from portraying twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera Another World (1987-1991) winning the Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney in September 6, 1953. She is an American actor. She is most well-known as Lieutenant Sheba in the television show Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). Her mother is actress June Lockhart. Lockhart began her acting career at a young age. When she was just four, Lockhart appeared in the film T is for Tumbleweed. The film was nominated for an Academy Award for this short film. Her mother invited her to a Studio where she was introduced to what the industry of film was like. Lockhart has even appeared on numerous Lassie episodes. Dora in Jory in 1973 was her first film. The Sixth Sense starred her as the Joan Crawford daughter at age 18. Joan made her last appearance on the show. There is a popular belief that Anne turned down the role as Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's 1978 thriller Halloween which was later recast for Jaime Lee Curtis. Carpenter said the actress was his first option for the role, however, she declined. Anne isn't sure if she remembers John Carpenter contacting her or suggesting the role. It is possible that one of her representatives declined the role for her, but without ever informing the actress. Glen Larson sent her an preliminary draft of script for a character in 1978's television series Battlestar Galactica. The character was weak enough to warrant her acceptance of the role. Glen was able to write an even stronger character with Sheba. The Living Legend, the first twenty-five pages of which she had read and was subsequently accepted. It lasted for just one season. The show also featured her with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
