Jessica resigned from the television series 7th Heaven in season six. The show became a hit due to her exceptional acting skills as teenage Casey Jackson in Ulee's Gold. She even won the award for the Best Young Supporting Actress in the film. Summer Catch is a great illustration of her talents. The movie Rules of Attraction did not achieve much success despite her outstanding performance. Her performance of The Texas Chainshaw Massacre, a horror movie, caught the public's eye. Her acting in suspense movies has proven her a serious actor.
